Dictionary Definition : Laura: Also known as "Solveig", her internet pseudonym, this female specimen of Homo Sapiens founded the Literary Cabinet world. One can spot "Laura," by the fun she has grading papers and drinking coffee, with triple coffee consumption ever since she quit smoking. Like another species, Homo Sapiens Zarasahanous, she enjoys picking at the extreme Twilight fans. This specimen is particularly fond of procrastinating, as most of the other species of the Literary Cabinet Universe are.

I've been listening to "Wuthering Heights" for a few days now, every now and then, when I had a few spare minutes. I find it quite confusing. I've already re-listened (Wink) the first three chapters, so I could get the hang of it, but it is still very mysterious to me. Did anyone have the same feeling? Does the novel simply take some getting used to?

Yes, I was rather confused when I read the first couple chapters of WH, between the narrator issues and the introduction of so many characters at once. I think Emily Bronte wanted us to feel mystified at first, just like Mr. Lockwood was, to wonder, "What's going on here?"
